With the toxic anti-immigrant sentiment that has become a staple of American politics, it is heartening to hear about new bridges being built between Wisconsin dairy farmers and undocumented immigrants. Writer Ruth Conniff recently published a new book about this phenomenon entitled Milked: How an American Crisis Brought Together Midwestern Dairy Farmers and Mexican Workers. She talks about it in this Wisconsin Examiner article: https://wisconsinexaminer.com/2022/10/24/getting-past-toxic-partisanship-dairy-farmers-and-undocumented-workers/
